The company’s leadership is known for their aggressive tactics, especially towards potential competitors
The Crimson Company is a company that has investments from a lot of Zenidorian Nobles. It is lead by alchemist Razel. It is mostly allied with Zenidor as it is their only provider of Red Essence, however they do export to other countries like Erebus. They actively looking for ways to make the red essence production more efficient and red essence much more powerful, their extensive research had lead them to the discovery of more potent essences that could work as alloys that makes the red essence unstable. They are actively researching on an ancient elvish technology from before the twilight age, that would allow them to create an essence so powerfull so cheap, that would change everything.
The Crimson Company had a lot of alliances and a lot of connections. Zenidor Intelligence and Magical (ZIM) Forces were conducting research in order to understand how the shardborns were came to be. They have captured a number of them, trying to analyse them and perhaps find a way to remove their dual nature or somehow recreate them in a way they can be controlled.
Crimson Company closely collaborated with the “ZIM” forces, providing them with red essence that was used to run a few parts of their labs.
Mirabel’s parents were nobles they have invested and created an a Arcane Research and Development with particular interest in the chronurgy magic. More specifically they their company, Stasis was developing magitech devices that were used to stabilise and contain wild magic, more specifically they are developing containment chambers for channeling essence’s raw power into pure energy. Her father in particular was involved with the ZIM, trying to create a magical device powerful enough to trigger a constant reaction between the two soulstates of a shardborn. Her father however was not aware what this device would have been used for. This would immediately make a shardborn into a soul (essentially nuclear) bomb of sorts, as their two soulstates would have been completely seperated and consumed. This technology had already been created from the Shadar Kai elves before the twilight age.
