Bully Guards
A few town guards are harassing some of the smaller shops, the other guards just look the other way. Fighting them directly may provoke the others to come to their aid. 5 guards for a group of 10, directly appointed from Zenidor, collect taxes, and clashes with local shops shops owned by orcs etc, while gracefully exempting others owned by wealthier residents who tend to be more aligned with Zenidor. Ularansa also has its own guard consisting of mostly Ularansian soldiers, the Ularansian guard does not hold the Zenidor guard in high regard.
Assasination Attempt
There is an attempt on the party’s lives. They find a note on the assassins’ body which indicates the hit placed, and an emblem which indicates a powerful house in the very same city.
Not sure how this will play out. This might tie in with the bully guards, if the party somehow decides to intervene. Or if the party intervenes with the crimson company plans.
The Lunatic
A disheveled and frantic man approaches the party; explains he was part of an archeologist group that found evidence the city’s Red Essence refineries was built on top of the ruins of an ancient temple that was dedicated to a demon. Maybe his claims are more valid than w

There is a disease spreading slowly on the the streets of Ularansa. It seems that people are getting poisoned by something that they are eating could it be some kind of food, who knows… Maybe its related with this honey quest hahaha. The Governor’s Office is willing to give adventurers a chance to investigate. All the
Huge Fat Mutated Rats on the Ports
Rats Appeared on the streets of Ularansa near the port, those Rats are big as large dogs, and their eyes are turned red. The sewers that supposedly end on the sea, are connected with the Crimson Order’s refineries through and underground cavern that goes under the seafloor. close to the volcano. Recent experiments with amplifying red essense has caused the rats to be mutated, as the lead wizard is experimenting with Soul magic. They managed to find ways of activating it through a red shard, although the red shard can only do it for lesser creatures, so they are experimenting with rats etc. However the rats are getting massively mutated since their soulstate is being altered, Some have escaped and found their way through the underground caverns into the main island.
There are also more clues about something weird going on on the refineries. as the party may find out of suspicious ships going in and out of the refineries, ships that carry bodies of dead people.

He will do so in grave results.
