Childhood in Shadows

Grigor Ironhand, a man of resilience and strength, was born into a life of hardship. His father, a notorious outlaw, was a man consumed by alcohol and anger. The death of Grigor’s mother only served to exacerbate his father’s worst tendencies, leading to a home filled with fear and abuse for Grigor and his younger brother, Daniel.

Exile to the Messos Archipelago

The law in Zenidor was unyielding. When his father was arrested, Grigor and Daniel were exiled alongside him to the desolate Messos Archipelago. The harsh reality of their new life was a far cry from the home they once knew. But Grigor, unwilling to remain under his father’s oppressive rule, seized an opportunity to escape with Daniel. Their flight, however, branded them as outlaws in the eyes of the Zenidorian Guard.

Life on the Run

The brothers found themselves wandering from town to city, eking out a living through odd jobs and occasional mercenary work. Their journey led them to Rollienta, a city teeming with opportunities but also riddled with moral ambiguities. Grigor found himself entangled in questionable dealings, and upon realizing the dubious nature of his associates, he chose to sever ties and flee north, leaving Zenidor behind for good.

A New Beginning in the North

In the northern territories of the Alliance of the Lords, Grigor found a semblance of peace. He settled in a small village, largely ignored by the ruling Lords, and started a family. Life was simple, but it was his. However, tranquility was short-lived. Goblin raids began to plague the region, bringing chaos and fear.

The Arrival of Airo Kumanu and the Fight Against Goblins

It was during this time of turmoil that Airo Kumanu, a northern barbarian, arrived. His village had been decimated, forcing him to flee south. Airo, Grigor, and Daniel joined forces, successfully repelling the goblin threat. Recognizing the need for unity, they proposed an alliance with the neighboring villages, offering protection in exchange for gold and resources. Some villages resisted, requiring Grigor and Airo to employ persuasive measures to ensure their cooperation.
