,

Dorianna Garrix is a vivacious young wizard attending the prestigious Crescent Academy. She has sparkling azure eyes, a cascade of black with red edges hair, and a boisterous laugh that seems to fill any room she’s in. Born with an inherent affinity for magic and a love for the unpredictable, Dorianna has found her place within the student community, though perhaps not in the way her professors would have hoped.

She is renowned for her dazzling charm and knack for party planning rather than her academic prowess. Dorianna has made it an art to miss classes, fool the administration with her deceptive skills, and still manage to maintain her magical education. While other students pore over their books, Dorianna prefers the revelry of late-night parties, dancing, and socializing.

Still, Dorianna has a keen mind and a natural talent for magic. Her spell selection leans towards the flashy and dramatic, with spells like Dancing Lights and Color Spray among her favorites. She is also proficient in practical joke spells such as Tasha’s Hideous Laughter and Unseen Servant. When the situation calls for it, she’s capable of potent magic like Hypnotic Pattern, and Greater Invisibility.

Fear of Failure:

Dorianna might be overwhelmed by the high expectations set for her. Her initial success and natural talent made her a standout student, leading everyone to expect greatness from her. The fear of failing to meet these expectations can be too much, and she might use partying as an escape from this pressure.

Ties with the Crimson Company.

Maritin Garrix is an member of the Crimson’s Company elite three. He is a reknown high level wizard and arcane research. He is closely tied with the Governor of Rolienta in Zenidor. Maritin Garrix was the one that discovered ways of extracting red essence in the Volcano of Caledhon from the very lava of the volcano 33 years ago. Maritin enrolled his daughter in the Elemental School of Floredhon the capital of Zenidor, however Dorianna failed miserably entering the school. Out of shame of his daughter, Maritin went on and used his ties within the crescent academy. At least she would be a certified wizard even if that would come from one of the what the elite wizard community in mainland Zenidor.

Years of suppression

Her magical aptitude wasn’t merely a talent to be nurtured, but a tool to further her family’s influence within the Crimson Company. The structured and rigid upbringing, alongside the weight of expectations, could have caused her to suppress her own desires and needs, potentially leading to burnout and rebellion.

Underneath the parties and revelry, Dorianna’s actions could be a desperate cry for help. A silent plea to break free from the shackles of family expectations and to discover her own path. The freedom and exhilaration of partying might offer her a temporary escape from the fear of failing to live up to her family’s expectations.

Dorianna’s dilemma poses a critical question: Will she continue down the path of self-destruction or will she confront her fears, address her suppressed emotions, and redefine her life on her own terms? The narrative potential here is quite rich for character development and transformation.

Dorianna’s real ability

Dorianna’s true power however was always her singing abilities, an ability deemed useless by her father. Deep inside what Dorianna wants to be is an artist, however years of neglection by her family made her dismissive of her actual ability, she fears she is not good enough, she has self esteem issues.
